Stavolta \u00e8 il turno di 21Shares, il gestore di asset specializzato in criptovalute ha formalmente richiesto alla SEC l&#8217;approvazione di un ETF spot legato a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptonews.com\/it\/coins\/sei\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEI<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019iniziativa non \u00e8 isolata, infatti segue la strada gi\u00e0 battuta da <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptonews.com\/it\/news\/canary-capital-group-chiede-lapprovazione-per-un-etf-basato-su-sui\/\">Canary Capital, che aveva presentato una richiesta simile ad aprile<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We&#39;re excited to announce that we&#39;ve filed with the SEC for a SEI ETF in the U.S. &#8211; a key milestone in our vision to expand exchange-traded access to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SeiNetwork?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Seinetwork<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/nTuCLAjXyY\">pic.twitter.com\/nTuCLAjXyY<\/a><\/p>&mdash; 21Shares US (@21shares_us) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/21shares_us\/status\/1961174908597391718?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 28, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stando ai <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/2061623\/000121390025081796\/ea0254933-s1_21shares.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">documenti<\/a><\/strong> presentati gioved\u00ec, l&#8217;ETF su SEI di 21Shares dovrebbe replicare l&#8217;andamento dell&#8217;indice CF SEI-Dollar Reference Rate espresso in USD, se dovesse essere approvato. <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ma l&#8217;aspetto pi\u00f9 importante \u00e8 che la societ\u00e0 ha dichiarato l&#8217;intenzione di partecipare allo staking qualora la normativa fiscale lo consentisse.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il prodotto proposto punta a \u201c<strong>riflettere i premi derivanti dallo staking di una parte\u201d dei token SEI<\/strong> dell\u2019ETF \u201csenza incorrere a eccessivi rischi legali o normativi\u201d.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La richiesta arriva in un momento in cui l\u2019agenzia di vigilanza sui mercati USA ha sul tavolo diverse domande relative a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptonews.com\/it\/news\/approvazione-etf-su-xrp-attesa-entro-ottobre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ETF associati a diverse altcoin<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tra le varie proposte di ETF crypto ora al vaglio della SEC, sono i fondi che seguono il prezzo di XRP a catturare l&#8217;attenzione, soprattutto ora che la societ\u00e0 sembra aver lasciato alle spalle la lunga questione legale e normativa che l&#8217;ha contrapposto alla SEC.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nella richiesta si legge che la custodia dei token SEI spetterebbe alla societ\u00e0 <strong>Coinbase Custody Trust Company<\/strong> e Coinbase stessa ricoprirebbe il ruolo di broker principale.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La SEC ha rinviato la decisione su diversi ETF crypto, ma non \u00e8 detto che sia un male<\/h2><span class=\"replacer\"><\/span><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gi\u00e0 in passato, quando erano al vaglio le <strong>approvazioni degli ETF spot legati a Bitcoin ed Ethereum<\/strong>, la SEC ha sfruttato fino all&#8217;ultimo momento utile prima di esprimersi favorevolmente. <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Qualcosa di simile sta succedendo adesso con le richieste relative agli ETF sulle altcoin. Dopo vari rinvii, si ritiene che la SEC prender\u00e0 decisioni su pi\u00f9 richieste gi\u00e0 a ottobre, tra cui veicoli legati a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptonews.com\/it\/news\/trump-media-aggiorna-la-domanda-per-letf-su-bitcoin-ma-i-dati-piu-attesi-non-ci-sono\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Trump Media<\/a><\/strong> e Solana (SOL).<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gli emittenti di ETF su altcoin stanno aggiornando le domande nella speranza che le scadenze di ottobre possano segnare una svolta nel panorama degli ETF crypto.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La SEC di recente ha rinviato le decisioni sull\u2019approvazione degli ETF su Bitcoin ed Ethereum di Truth Social, e lo stesso ha fatto per i fondi su XRP e Litecoin. L\u2019incremento \u00e8 attribuito anche alla recente spinta verso l\u2019adozione istituzionale.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ne \u00e8 una prova, per esempio, la quantit\u00e0 di <strong>SEI che Circle detiene in bilancio<\/strong>.
