Le service de paiement mobile Cash App<\/b>, qui soutient également les échanges en BTC, a entériné un accord pluriannuel avec Richard Petty Motorsports<\/b>. Le parcours de Bitcoin pour faire sa marque dans le NASCAR a été long et ardu, comme peuvent en témoigner les fans de la franchise. En 2014, les utilisateurs du BTC ont lancé une campagne pour tenter de décrocher un contrat de sponsoring avec un autre pilote de NASCAR, Alex Bowman. <\/p>

Baptisée Bitcoin23 en référence au numéro de course de l’athlète, l’effort visait à placer le logo du Bitcoin sur la Toyota Camry de Bowman. L’objectif était de collecter au moins 100 000 dollars pour conclure un accord de sponsoring afin de pouvoir mettre les logos de Bitcoin sur la voiture pour la course du 29 au 31 août 2014 sur l’Atlanta Motor Speedway. Malheureusement, la crypto-campagne de crowdfunding n’a pas donné les résultats escomptés, et en 2018, BK Racing, qui était l’équipe de Bowman au moment de la campagne, a été fermée.<\/p>

Cependant, en mars 2014, les utilisateurs du Dogecoin (DOGE) ont récolté quelque 67 millions de DOGE, qui valaient alors environ 55 000 dollars, pour sponsoriser la voiture du pilote Josh Wise<\/b> dans la course de Superspeedway Talladega de NASCAR.<\/p><\/oembed>

Pendant un certain temps, les utilisateurs de bitcoins ne pouvaient qu’espérer accroître leur visibilité dans la NASCAR par le biais des sports électroniques, comme ce fut le cas en avril de cette année, lorsqu’un aficionado du BTC a battu<\/a> Kyle Busch<\/b>, le champion en titre de la NASCAR Cup Series, dans un match sur la plateforme iRacing.
