Dans une tentative ambitieuse de collecter des fonds pour Centrepoint<\/b>, une association caritative britannique pour les sans-abri, et d’encourager les associations caritatives à accepter la cryptomonnaie comme forme de don, Pete Wood<\/b>, le PDG de CoinBurp<\/b>, une start-up crypto, s’est lancé le défi de prononcer le mot \u00ab\u00a0crypto\u00a0\u00bb 100 000 fois sur un live stream<\/a><\/i>, encourageant le public à faire un don en Bitcoin (BTC) ou Ethereum (ETH).<\/p>

Aujourd’hui, je vais répéter le mot \u00ab\u00a0crypto\u00a0\u00bb 100 000 fois, ce qui, j’en suis sûr, me prendra beaucoup de temps\u00a0\u00bb, dit Wood au début de la diffusion en direct. Il prononça son dernier “crypto” après 11 heures 51 minutes.<\/p>

CoinBurp dit aussi qu’il verse un montant équivalent à 1% de tous les dons. À l’heure d’écrire cet article 0,027 BTC<\/a> (196 $) et 0,335946102 ETH<\/a> (49 $) ont été donnés.<\/p>

Tout en servant une cause caritative, l’événement a également assuré une visibilité accrue à la start-up qui est actuellement à la recherche d’investisseurs pour soutenir sa deuxième phase de développement de produits.<\/p>

Selon l’argumentaire d’investissement de CoinBurp, la start-up est une plateforme de crypto-trading avec une \u00ab\u00a0vision à long terme pour devenir une marque internationale et faire partie de l’écosystème bancaire\u00a0\u00bb et destinée aux \u00ab\u00a0investisseurs de détail peu confiants\u00a0\u00bb. Avec quelque 220 670 GBP (290 131 USD) collectés auprès d’un total de 127 investisseurs, CoinBurp se dirige vers son objectif d’obtenir 300 000 USD.<\/p>

Depuis son lancement en mai 2019, CoinBurp affirme avoir acquis plus de 1 000 utilisateurs et facilité plus de 1 000 transactions, pour un volume total de transactions d’environ 1 million de livres sterling, selon les données de l’entreprise.<\/p>
