Le champion sud-coréen du jeu de go Lee Sedol<\/b> arrête sa carrière professionnelle, après avoir reconnu la supériorité de l’intelligence artificielle (IA). <\/p>

Le champion, qui avait acquis une renommée mondiale en 2016 en étant le seul humain à pouvoir vaincre l’intelligence artificielle AlphaGo<\/b>, a en effet déclaré selon l’agence sud-coréenne Yonhap News<\/b><\/a> que sa retraite était principalement motivée par l’invincibilité du programme d’IA. \u00ab\u00a0Même si je deviens le numéro un, il y aura toujours cette entité qui ne pourra pas être vaincue\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il déclaré dans une interview accordée à l’agence il y a quelques jours.<\/p>

AlphaGo<\/b>, le programme construit par Google DeepMind Technologies<\/b>, a remporté quatre de ses cinq matchs contre Lee en mars 2016, et la seule victoire de Lee dans la partie numéro 4 reste la seule fois où un humain a battu la machine.<\/p>

Très humble par rapport à ces cinq parties, le média rapporte qu’en repensant à ce 4e match historique du 13 mars 2016, Lee attribue sa victoire à un bug dans le programme AlphaGo.<\/p>

AlphaGo Zero: l’IA plus forte que l’IA!<\/h3>

Non content d’avoir terrassé le cerveau humain avec son intelligence artificielle, les ingénieurs de DeepMind ont été plus loin en inventant en 2017 AlphaGo Zero<\/b>, une version améliorée d’AlphaGo. Ce nouveau “monstre d’intelligence artificielle” n’a pas fait comme sont prédécesseur qui a analysé des milliers de parties, non, AlphaGo Zero a tout simplement appris à jouer… par elle-même en quelques jours et a réussi à écraser littéralement son ancêtre AlphaGo, avec un score de 100 parties à 0.<\/p>

Dans une déclaration faite au magazine The Verge<\/a>, Demis Hassabis<\/b>, PDG de DeepMind, a déclaré que Lee avait fait preuve d’un \u00a0\u00bb véritable esprit guerrier \u00a0\u00bb dans ses jeux avec AlphaGo. “Au nom de toute l’équipe AlphaGo de DeepMind, je tiens à féliciter Lee Sedol pour sa décennie légendaire au sommet du jeu, et lui souhaiter le meilleur pour l’avenir… Je sais qu’on se souviendra de Lee comme l’un des plus grands joueurs de Go de sa génération.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
