La Corée du Nord organisera une deuxième «conférence internationale sur la blockchain et les crypto-devises» en février 2020. Une source proche de Pyongyang a déclaré que les Nord-Coréens sont en droit de posséder des cryptomonnaies et que les développeurs «travaillent sur des portefeuilles cryptos».<\/p>

L’événement 2020 est co-organisé par la Korean Friendship Association<\/b> (KFA), un groupe basé en Espagne qui défend les causes du gouvernement nord-coréen.<\/p>

Alejandro Cao de Benes<\/b>, de la KFA, a répondu à une question sur Twitter en déclarant que les Nord-Coréens sont autorisés à posséder des cryptomonnaies et que des portefeuilles de cryptomonnaies étaient en cours de développement dans le pays.<\/p>

Cao de Benes a également laissé entendre que le pays travaillait peut-être sur la création d’un échange – bien que des allégations similaires sans suite aient été faites il y a plus d’un an<\/a>.<\/p>

L’événement d’une semaine aura lieu du 22 au 29 février dans le complexe scientifique et technologique de Pyongyang, dans la capitale. Il semble, comme l’avaient promis ses organisateurs, qu’il sera d’une plus grande ampleur que l’événement organisé en avril de cette année qui a réuni 100 participants du monde entier, selon la KFA.<\/p>

Selon un site Web de réservation en langue anglaise, les participants à l’événement pourront côtoyer des «hauts fonctionnaires et des ingénieurs du gouvernement», et la prochaine conférence aura «un public [plus grand] et une portée plus large». <\/p>

Les billets pour la conférence coûtent 3 400 euros chacun, mais – comme l’événement de cette année – les billets seront interdits aux détenteurs de passeports sud-coréens, japonais et israéliens.<\/p>

Le pays a récemment réagi à ce qu’il appelle des affirmations “infondées” de l’ONU<\/b>, qui a déclaré le mois dernier<\/a> que Pyongyang a mené avec succès «35 cyber-attaques contre des institutions financières [classiques] et des échanges de cryptomonnaies dans 17 pays, de décembre 2015 à mai 2019», et que ces fonds étaient utilisés pour alimenter ses programmes de missiles à long terme et nucléaires.<\/p>

Les États-Unis et Séoul estiment tous deux que l’armée du pays comprend une sous-unité spéciale de «20 à 30 cyber-guerriers d’élite», spécialisée dans le vol de cryptomonnaies dans les échanges.<\/p>
