Jeudi, Van Eck Securities Corp.<\/b> et SolidX Management LLC<\/b>, basés aux États-Unis, prévoient commencer à vendre des actions dans une version limitée d’un fonds négocié en bourse crypto (ETF), a rapporté<\/a> le Wall Street Journal<\/i>, citant les deux sociétés.<\/p>

Ils utilisent une règle qui exemptera les actions de l’enregistrement des valeurs mobilières, mais les actions ne peuvent être vendues qu’à certains acheteurs institutionnels, selon l’article. Les deux sociétés espèrent que cette version limitée constituera la preuve qu’un ETF bitcoin peut fonctionner.<\/p>

Les deux sociétés ont d’abord appliqué conjointement pour un ETF bitcoin en 2018 et ont déclaré toujours s’attendre à une éventuelle approbation.<\/p>

Comme annoncé précédemment<\/a>, Reality Shares ETF Trust<\/b>, une filiale du gestionnaire d’actifs basé aux États-Unis Blockforce Capital<\/b>, avait tenté d’introduire une “solution de contournement pour un ETF en bitcoins” en février 2019. Toutefois, la proposition a été retirée à la demande de la US Securities and Exchange Commission<\/b> (SEC). <\/p>

La SEC a refusé de commenter la nouvelle initiative.<\/p>

Eric Balchunas<\/b>, analyste en chef des ETF pour Bloomberg Intelligence<\/b>, a déclaré que “tout cela semble être très risqué, donc jusqu’à preuve du contraire, je n’appelle pas cela un ETF”.<\/p><\/oembed>

Une nouvelle série de décisions de la SEC sur les ETF Bitcoin est attendue pour cet automne.<\/p>

Il est estimé qu’un ETF en bitcoins aux États-Unis débloquerait le marché des conseillers financiers, où la moitié de l’argent aux États-Unis est géré. Et pour le moment, il leur est très difficile d’accéder au marché de la cryptographie.<\/p>

Et bien que la récente initiative de Van Eck et de SolidX ne soit disponible que pour les investisseurs institutionnels, certains membres de la communauté crypto ont remarqué que l’annonce coïncidait avec la récente hausse du Bitcoin:<\/p>
