Les trois principaux opérateurs de téléphonie mobile sud-coréens, KT<\/b>, SK<\/b>, et LG U+<\/b>, se sont associés à Samsung<\/b>, aux banques KEB Hana<\/b> et Woori<\/b>, et à la société d’informatique financière Koscom<\/b> pour collaborer sur une plateforme d’identification mobile alimentée par la technologie blockchain.<\/p>

Le consortium indique que sa plateforme, qui devrait être disponible sur presque tous les smartphones sud-coréens à partir de 2020, utilisera la solution de sécurité Knox<\/b> de Samsung. La plateforme, expliquent les opérateurs, permettra aux utilisateurs de se passer des intermédiaires de gestion des données personnelles et permettra également aux utilisateurs de stocker et d’utiliser leurs numéros de sécurité sociale et leurs informations de comptes bancaires sur des téléphones mobiles en toute sécurité.<\/p>

Selon Boan News<\/i>, la plateforme utilisera la technologie des identificateurs décentralisés (DID<\/b>), un identifiant qui fournit des solutions d’identité numérique vérifiables et autonomes.<\/p>

Le consortium déclare: «Nous allons planifier une stratégie qui leur permettra d’appliquer la certification électronique mobile alimentée par la chaîne de blocs à divers secteurs. […] Nous sommes les leaders du marché dans nos industries respectives».<\/p>

Cette nouvelle plateforme marque la première fois que les concurrents des opérateurs mobiles SK, KT et LG U+ collaborent sur un projet de blockchain, malgré le fait que les trois sociétés travaillent à un rythme effréné sur leurs propres offres de blockchain.<\/p>

De plus, LG U+ a récemment été annoncé comme l’un des membres du conseil de gouvernance de la nouvelle et ambitieuse plateforme de blockchain Klaytn<\/b> de Kakao<\/b>.<\/p>

Entre-temps, SK a récemment annoncé, selon Newspim<\/i>, qu’il investirait dans un fonds blockchain de ConsenSys<\/b>, dirigé par Joe Lubin<\/b>, cofondateur de Ethereum.<\/p>
