Lightning Labs<\/b>, qui travaille à la mise à l’échelle et à l’accélération des transactions Bitcoin, a lancé sa première application mobile Lightning, “la première application mainnet Bitcoin sur toutes les principales plateformes mobiles et de bureau”.<\/p>

Ils ont déjà lancé l’application Lightning pour le bureau. Leur annonce officielle<\/a> indique que l’application est disponible sur le Bitcoin mainnet en mode alpha pour iOS sur Testflight<\/a> et pour Android sur Google Play<\/a>. L’objectif étant de rendre l’application accessible aux nouveaux utilisateurs en la rendant simple à utiliser.<\/p>

Il s’agit d’un portefeuille principalement destiné aux personnes souhaitant faire des dépenses, des paiements via le réseau Lightning. Cependant, cela demeure une technologie très récente et le risque que les utilisateurs puissent perdre tous leurs fonds existe. “Lors du test de la version alpha actuelle du logiciel, nous conseillons aux utilisateurs de ne pas investir plus d’argent dans l’application que ce qu’ils sont disposés à perdre”. Ils recommandent d’utiliser des sommes entre 5 et 20 dollars pour faire les tests.<\/p>

Les applications mobiles, tout comme celles de bureau, ont “un nœud Lighting Network entièrement fonctionnel”, déclare Lightning Labs, et elles attendent avec intérêt des informations en retour pour améliorer la stabilité et les performances au-delà de la version alpha.<\/p>

En termes de sécurité, la clé privée reste dans le périphérique de l’utilisateur, protégée par un mot de passe aléatoire stocké dans le trousseau iOS, tandis que le KeyStore est utilisé pour stocker les informations cryptées sur le disque pour Android, avec davantage de fonctionnalités de sécurité.<\/p>
