Stefan Krautwald<\/b>, membre du conseil d’administration de l’échange pour l’Amérique latine, a déclaré que le nombre de transactions en cryptomonnaie au Pérou était supérieur à celui de tout autre pays de la région, à l’exception de la Colombie et du Venezuela.<\/p>

Selon le média péruvien Géstion<\/i>, BITpoint entend appliquer les mêmes politiques commerciales auto-réglementées que celles qu’il est tenu de suivre au Japon, selon lesquelles les bourses doivent se conformer à la législation et aux directives en vigueur.<\/p>

Krautwald a déclaré: «Le Pérou est un pays très intéressé par les [cryptomonnaies]. Nous voulons faire partie du développement du marché péruvien».<\/p>

La société japonaise a annoncé qu’avant de créer sa succursale péruvienne, elle avait consulté la banque centrale du Pérou (connue localement sous le nom de BCR<\/b>) et l’autorité de réglementation financière, le surintendant des services bancaires et des valeurs mobilières.<\/p>

On sait qu’un certain nombre d’échanges internationaux s’intéressent au marché péruvien. Le mois dernier, Bittrex<\/a><\/b> a annoncé qu’elle lancerait une plateforme de négociation dans le pays, qui sera également opérationnelle au Chili.<\/p>

Pendant ce temps, au Japon, BITpoint a annoncé qu’il mettrait fin à tous les échanges étrangers fiat-à-cryptomonnaie. La bourse propose actuellement des transactions en dollars américains, en euros et en dollars de Hong Kong, mais, selon le média japonais Crypto Watch<\/i>, BITpoint cessera d’échanger des paires à l’étranger à partir du 27 juin.<\/p>
