Facebook<\/b> est au “début des discussions” avec la Commodity Futures Trading Commission<\/b> (CFTC) à propos de sa cryptomonnaie, a déclaré au Financial Times Christopher Giancarlo, le président sortant de la CFTC, un organisme chargé de la régulation des bourses de commerce, où se traitent les matières premières.<\/p>

Selon Giancarlo, il était trop tôt pour dire si les jetons de Facebook relevaient ou pas de la compétence de la CFTC: “Nous ne pouvons donner suite que quand la demande a été déposée, nous ne pouvons pas nous prononcer avant d’avoir étudié le dossier”. <\/p>

Facebook a récemment parlé à Mark Carney, le gouverneur de la Bank of England<\/b>, à des responsables du Trésor américain, des sociétés de transfert d’argent, y compris Western Union<\/b> et à certains échanges cryptos au sujet de son projet de paiement.<\/p>
