Chai Won-cheol<\/b>, responsable de la stratégie technologique de Samsung Mobile<\/b>, a laissé entendre que la fonction de portefeuille crypto du Galaxy S10<\/b> – actuellement disponible uniquement pour les utilisateurs en Corée du Sud, au Canada et aux États-Unis – serait bientôt étendue à \u00ab\u00a0d’autres pays\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>

Chai a déclaré que \u00ab\u00a0Samsung coopérerait avec les opérateurs de télécommunication\u00a0\u00bb sur des projets portant sur \u00ab\u00a0l’identification de la technologie blockchain et les monnaies régionales [fiat]\u00a0\u00bb. Il a ajouté que de tels projets fourniraient aux \u00ab\u00a0grands développeurs et startups\u00a0\u00bb les bases nécessaires pour expérimenter de \u00ab\u00a0nouveaux services blockchain\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>

Chai a affirmé que la technologie blockchain ouvrait un «terrain d’opportunités pour [un éventail d’industries] et de startups», ce qui était «conforme à la philosophie de développement de produits de la société».<\/p>

Le responsable technique a également indiqué que Samsung Mobile envisageait un certain nombre d’enquêtes de coopération dans différents domaines liées à la blockchain.<\/p>

Forbes<\/i> rapporte également<\/a> qu’une autre filiale de Samsung, l’unité d’investissement Samsung NEXT<\/b>, a récemment co-dirigé une série de financements stratégiques pour Theta Labs<\/b>, le créateur du protocole de streaming vidéo décentralisé Theta Network<\/b>. L’opérateur de portefeuille, Blockchain<\/b>, a également co-dirigé les enchères.<\/p>

Cette année, Samsung a considérablement intensifié ses opérations dans la technologie blockchain.<\/p>

Jusqu’au début 2019, lorsque l’unité mobile de la société a annoncé le lancement du S10 et de son portefeuille crypto, Samsung avait canalisé ses activités blockchain exclusivement via son service informatique Samsung SDS<\/b>. Toutefois, ce n’est plus la seule filiale de Samsung à promouvoir activement les services et les produits de la blockchain.<\/p>
