Le géant sud-coréen Samsung<\/b> investit dans le capital de Ledger<\/b>, l’entreprise française qui fabrique notamment les portefeuilles physiques (hardware wallets) tels que le Nano S, à hauteur de 2,6 millions d’euros. <\/p>

Cette information exclusive, que l’on doit à notre confrère Grégory Raymond<\/b>, journaliste crypto au magazine Capital<\/b> et animateur du podcast 21 millions<\/a>, a été confirmée par le fondateur de Ledger Éric Larchevêque<\/b>, mais celui-ci n’a cependant pas voulu faire de commentaire sur cette annonce pour le moment. <\/p><\/oembed>

Selon Capital, cet investissement valoriserait Ledger à 260 millions d’euros. Samsung semble démontrer un intérêt croissant pour les cryptomonnaies et la technologie blockchain. Le constructeur asiatique avait en effet récemment fait parler de lui en annonçant que ses téléphones S10 étaient équipés d’un portefeuille crypto<\/a>.<\/p>

Parallèlement, la division des services informatiques de Samsung, Samsung SDS, a conclu un accord avec Tech Mahindra<\/a>, la branche technologique du groupe indien Mahindra. Selon l’accord Samsung SDS-Tech Mahindra, les deux pays \u00ab\u00a0exploreront les opportunités commerciales liées à la blockchain en Inde, aux États-Unis et en Europe\u00a0\u00bb grâce à la plateforme blockchain Samsung SDS Nexledger, rapporte Yonhap News.<\/p>
