Le géant français des télécommunications Orange<\/a><\/b> se lance dans la lutte contre les « fake news » (fausses nouvelles) en devenant le premier membre de safe.press<\/a>, une plateforme d’authentification mutualisée des actualités en ligne reposant sur la technologie blockchain. <\/p>

Ce système de certification en consortium est développé par la start-up française Block Expert<\/a>. Selon l’entreprise, il permettra grâce à la présence d’un badge vert « safe.press » d’identifier des nouvelles qui ont été validées. <\/p>

On pourra ainsi voir sur les pages d’Orange ce “label de confiance numérique sécurisé par la blockchain” et qui permet en un clic et en temps réel de vérifier l’authenticité et la source des contenus en ligne diffusés aux médias. Désormais l’ensemble des communiqués de presse publiés par Orange seront vérifiables dans l’espace presse d’orange.com en cliquant sur le badge vert « safe.press ».<\/p>

« Je suis très fière qu’Orange prenne cette initiative et contribue à la lutte contre les fake news qui sont devenues un véritable fléau. La communication d’Orange bénéficiera désormais de la solution blockchain de Block Expert qui correspond à notre ADN : confiance, sécurité et innovation » a déclaré Béatrice Mandine<\/b>, directrice exécutive de la communication et de la marque d’Orange.<\/p>

De son côté, Benjamin Gievis<\/b>, co-fondateur de Block Expert, a dit : « Nous sommes très enthousiastes de coopérer avec Orange sur un sujet sociétal si important. Orange incarne l’innovation et la confiance numérique sur le plan mondial et permet à l’initiative Safe.press de devenir une réponse technologique majeure face au phénomène de désinformation ».<\/p>
