L’échange de cryptomonnaies Bittrex International<\/a> est de retour dans le mouvement appelé «killer app» avec une autre offre initiale d’échange annoncée (IEO). Cette fois, il s’agit de VeriBlock<\/b> (VBK), un projet de chaîne de blocs visant à transmettre le consensus de la preuve de travail de Bitcoin à d’autres chaînes au moyen d’un protocole dit de consensus.<\/p>

L’IEO, une méthode de collecte de fonds similaire à une offre initiale de jetons (ICO) mais facilitée par un échange, devrait commencer le 2 avril à 16 h 00 (UTC). Les investisseurs individuels devront acheter au moins 100 VBK (environ 10 USD) et au plus 200 000 VBK (environ 20 000 USD), ce qui fixe le prix d’une seule pièce à environ 0,1 USD.<\/p>

Cependant, Bittrex note dans le blog officiel que le prix de VBK sera fixé en Bitcoin dans les 24 heures qui suivent le début du IEO. Le montant disponible à la vente représente 24,7% de l’offre initiale en circulation. Les investisseurs recevront leurs pièces le 5 avril après la fin de la vente.<\/p>

VeriBlock est un projet qui vise à permettre à toute chaîne de blocs d’utiliser la sécurité Proof of Work<\/i> de Bitcoin, quel que soit son propre protocole de consensus, via Proof of Proof<\/i> – un protocole qui enregistre des photos instantanées d’une chaîne de blocs et les intègre aux transactions Bitcoin. Selon le projet, cela permet à la chaîne de blocs d’hériter des caractéristiques de sécurité de Bitcoin en permettant aux utilisateurs de déterminer la chaîne correcte en référençant des photos instantanées dans le cas d’une attaque de 51%.<\/p>

En cas de clichés instantanés en conflit, les utilisateurs sont avertis d’une réécriture potentielle avant de pouvoir confirmer la transaction, et le système leur indique également quand la transaction peut être acceptée en toute sécurité. Le projet a également lancé son réseau principal le 25 mars, après la phase de test d’un an terminée le 4 mars de cette année.<\/p>

La décision de lancer une IEO pour VeriBlock intervient après l’échec de Bittrex avec le RAID<\/b> sud-coréen, qui a abouti à l’annulation de cette offre IEO. À l’époque, la société d’analyses de jeu, OP.GG<\/b>, a mis fin à son partenariat stratégique avec RAID. Selon Bittrex, ce partenariat était «vital» pour le projet RAID.<\/p>

Par ailleurs, c’est le fondateur et PDG de Binance<\/a>, Changpeng Zhao<\/b>, qui a inventé le terme «killer app<\/a>», utilisé pour désigner les méthodes de collecte de fonds réalisées au moyen d’échanges.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
