Le gestionnaire a d&eacute;pens&eacute; un peu moins de 1 million USD pour ces options. Le bitcoin se n&eacute;gocie autour de 3 800 USD &agrave; la date de r&eacute;daction de cet article, soit une chute de plus de 80% par rapport au sommet de 19 783 USD atteint lors du pari de BlockTower.<\/p><p>En 2017, dans une interview avec CNBC, Paul avait expliqu&eacute; que les contrats d&#8217;option achet&eacute;s par BlockTower expirent si le prix de Bitcoin n&#8217;atteint pas le prix pr&eacute;dit d&#8217;ici la fin de 2018. Mais s&#8217;il le fait, il verse &agrave; l&#8217;entreprise une cote de 30 contre 1. Par cons&eacute;quent, ce pari de 1 million USD g&eacute;n&egrave;rerait un b&eacute;n&eacute;fice de 29 millions USD pour BlockTower. &Agrave; ce moment-l&agrave;, il avait ajout&eacute;: &laquo;Bitcoin est volatile. C&#8217;est un actif hyper volatil. Le bitcoin est en hausse de plus de 1 400% cette ann&eacute;e. Plus t&ocirc;t ce mois-ci, <b>Morgan Creek Digital<\/b>, un gestionnaire d&rsquo;actifs num&eacute;riques, a pari&eacute; 1 million USD que de tels actifs d&eacute;passeraient ceux du S&amp;P 500, un indice boursier am&eacute;ricain bas&eacute; sur la capitalisation boursi&egrave;re de 500 grandes entreprises, au cours des 10 prochaines ann&eacute;es.
