La 1ère édition du Massalia Blockchain Hackathon aura lieu le 18 décembre 2018. Cet événement, constitué de 4 parties étalées sur 2 jours, se déroulera dans les locaux de l’école d’informatique d’Epitech Marseille<\/b><\/a>, en région Sud PACA.<\/p>

“Ce hackathon a été organisé pour constituer un pool de développeurs blockchain (Solididy) en région Sud PACA, explique Alexis Choron<\/b>, président de TheWeb3 Blockchain Accelerator région Sud PACA. Ces compétences sont extrêmement rares en France (et concentrées en région parisienne) et quasiment inexistantes dans la région. L’objectif est de former des informaticiens à ce langage afin qu’il puissent par la suite développer des smart-contracts et Dapps pour que les entreprises du tissu économique local puissent rapidement intégrer la blockchain et ainsi obtenir un avantage concurrentiel sur leurs compétiteurs qui n’auront pas passé ce cap.<\/p>

Selon Alexis Choron, ce Hackathon s’adresse en priorité aux élèves de l’Epitech, mais quelques places ont été néanmoins réservées pour des développeurs extérieurs à l’école. “Le seul pré-requis est d’avoir une bonne connaissance de Javascript, un langage orienté objet proche de Solidity et qui permet donc de se familiariser facilement avec ce langage dans lequel 94% des smart-contrats dans le monde sont développés”.<\/p>

Le Mardi 18 décembre 2018:<\/b>
\n– 18h-19h : Conférence d’introduction à la Blockchain présentée par Alexis Choron (theWEB3, Smart Carbon), Bastien Ebalard (theWEB3) et Olivier Raybaud (Thor Network)
\n– 19h-20h : Diner networking
\n– 20h-05h : Hackathon Blockchain : Développement d’un “utility token” en langage Solidity sur la blockchain Ethereum. Le token devra pouvoir être utilisé par les étudiants d’Epitech en particulier et par l’ensemble des étudiants des établissements du groupe Ionis en général (s’agissant d’un “utility token” il faudra donc lui attribuer une fonction utilitaire qui permette l’échange de la valeur -financière ou non – entre étudiants).<\/p>

Le Mercredi 19 décembre 2018:<\/b>
\n– 14h: Remise des prix à Epitech en présence de notre partenaire Thor Network. Le prize pool offert par Thor Network sera partagé entre les 3 équipes gagnantes comme suit :
\n– 1er Prix : 300 €
\n– 2ème Prix : 150 €
\n– 3ème Prix : 50 €<\/b><\/p>

En complément l’association theWEB3 offrira un prix spécial d’une valeur de 300€<\/b>.<\/p>
