Voici trois lettres que l&#8217;on rencontre tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quemment dans la cryptosph\u00e8re et qui veulent dire \u201cInitial Coin Offering\u201d (litt\u00e9ralement Offre initiale de jetons). Une ICO est une m\u00e9thode qui permet de lever des fonds afin de soutenir un projet. L\u2019organisation qui lance une ICO \u00e9met des actifs num\u00e9riques appel\u00e9s des coins ou des tokens (jetons).<\/p><p>Les personnes qui veulent soutenir le projet en question ach\u00e8tent des jetons avec des cryptomonnaies, payant en Ether ou en Bitcoin par exemple. Ces jetons pourront ensuite \u00eatre vendus ou achet\u00e9s sur les plateformes d\u2019\u00e9change, mais ce n\u2019est pas syst\u00e9matique puisqu\u2019il faut que la cryptomonnaie en question soit list\u00e9e sur de tels exchanges.<\/p><p>Pour faire simple, disons que participer \u00e0 une ICO revient \u00e0 pr\u00e9-payer un produit ou un service qui est en d\u00e9veloppement.
