Suite au tweet du crypto-enthousiaste WhalePanda<\/b> qui a déclaré que, « Vitalik est encore une fois en train de faire la promotion de BCash », le co-fondateur d’Ethereum<\/a><\/b> a été obligé de répondre en disant qu’il ne faisait définitivement pas de promotion.<\/p>

Le tweet original de WhalePanda, qui a plus de 200 000 followers<\/i>, met de l’avant une photo d’écran d’un article qui cite Vitalik déclarant, « Je veux pouvoir entrer dans un dépanneur, prendre une carte, et payer un petit frais pour utiliser bitcoin cash ».<\/p><\/oembed>

Vitalik a répondu au tweet en disant que l’article complet est truffé d’erreurs de transcriptions, dont certaines qui ne font aucun sens.<\/p>

En vérité, ce qu’il a dit est qu’il souhaiterait pouvoir dépenser « cinq dollars moins un petit frais en bitcoin, bitcoin cash, zcash, ou ether », selon son tweet de réponse. Son point était l’adoption générale, et non pas la supériorité d’une cryptomonnaie en particulier. <\/p><\/oembed>

L’explication n’a pas suffit pour empêcher la situation de se transformer en une guerre à part entière entre les partisans de BTC et BCH, certains étant pris au milieu des deux clans. La communauté est déjà bien habituée à ce genre de débat…<\/p>

Vitalik Buterin a déjà largement parlé de l’adoption des cryptos<\/a> et comment cela pourrait être boosté. Les réponses à ses tweets s’inspirent souvent d’autres questions, telles que où investir et le fait qu’il fasse référence au bitcoin original comme bitcoin core, ce qui serait une preuve de sa préférence pour bitcoin cash.
