La chef exécutif de IBM, Virginia Rometty, a annoncé que la compagnie planifiait embaucher près de 2 000 personnes en France dans les domaines de l’intelligence artificielle (AI), l’internet des objets (IoT) et la blockchain.<\/p>

Dans une entrevue avec Le Monde, Rometty a indiqué que la compagnie collaborait déjà avec le Crédit Mutuel, Orange Bank, Generali, la société nationale des Chemins de fer français (SNCF), ainsi que Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE (LVMH), sans toutefois préciser sur quels projets les nouveaux chercheurs travailleraient. Elle a ajouté : « Au cours des deux prochaines années, nous allons embaucher 1 800 personnes chez IBM en France. En janvier, nous avons annoncé notre intention de recruter 400 employés dans le domaine de la recherche. Ces postes porteront sur les domaines de l’intelligence artificielle, la blockchain et l’internet des objets ».<\/p>

En référence aux classifications américaines désignées en tant que « cols bleus » et « cols blancs », Rometty a déclaré que IBM offrira un programme d’apprentissage proposant « une nouvelle couleur de cols » en France. Cette initiative s’inscrit dans la ligne de pensée de l’entreprise qui souhaite faire de la France un « centre d’excellence » dédié à l’intelligence artificielle.<\/p>

Le géant de la technologie IBM, par ailleurs, est connu pour être déjà fortement impliqué dans des projets impliquant la blockchain. Par exemple, en mars dernier, il a été fait mention d’un ordinateur minuscule « plus petit qu’un grain de sel », qui utiliserait la blockchain et qui serait incorporé aux appareils de la vie quotidienne. IBM s’est également associé avec MOBI (Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative), dans le but d’explorer les possibilités de la blockchain afin de rendre les moyens de transport plus sécuritaires, plus abordables, et plus accessibles.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
