Bybit, l’échange de crypto-monnaies bien connu, franchit une étape majeure dans son expansion européenne en obtenant une licence des régulateurs chypriotes<\/strong>. Cette licence permet à Bybit de servir les traders de crypto-monnaies en Europe, après avoir récemment quitté les marchés canadien et britannique.<\/p>

Bybit à Chypre pour servir l’Union Européenne<\/h2><\/span>

Bybit a dernièrement fait une annonce importante : l’obtention d’une licence de la part des autorités de réglementation de Chypre<\/strong>. Cette licence permet à la plateforme d’échange de crypto-monnaies de fournir des services d’échange et de garde dans les pays de l’Union européenne, selon un communiqué officiel<\/a>.<\/p>

Cette initiative démontre l’engagement de la société basée à Dubaï à respecter les règles locales. La licence renforce la présence de la plateforme d’échange au sein de l’Union européenne (UE)<\/strong>, après avoir fait l’objet d’un examen réglementaire au Japon et s’être retirée du marché canadien<\/a> et britannique. <\/p>

En obtenant cette licence à Chypre, Bybit cherche à offrir une solution fiable et réglementée aux crypto-traders européens<\/strong>. La conformité aux réglementations locales est devenue un facteur clé pour les acteurs de l’industrie des crypto-monnaies<\/a> et cette licence témoigne de la volonté de Bybit d’opérer dans le respect des normes en vigueur.<\/p>

“Ce succès est un témoignage de l’engagement de Bybit à respecter des cadres réglementaires solides tout en étendant notre présence mondiale”, a déclaré Ben Zhou, co-fondateur et PDG de Bybit<\/strong>, dans un communiqué, il déclare également :<\/p>

“Nous soutenons pleinement l’objectif réglementaire de développer une industrie des crypto-monnaies conforme, sécurisée et transparente”.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Basée actuellement à Dubaï<\/a>, Bybit a récemment quitté le marché canadien en raison de questions réglementaires. La plateforme d’échange de crypto-monnaies, qui a été fondée en 2018 et se positionne aujourd’hui parmi les 20 plus importantes à l’échelle mondiale<\/strong>, a également exprimé son intention d’obtenir une licence à Hong Kong<\/a>. En parallèle, son concurrent Binance<\/a> a récemment demandé la radiation de sa filiale enregistrée à Chypre.<\/p>

Préparation à la réglementation MiCA<\/h2><\/span>

En prévision de la réglementation MiCA<\/a> (Markets in Crypto Assets) qui permettra aux entreprises de l’Union européenne de servir l’ensemble du bloc avec une licence d’un seul État membre, plusieurs entreprises se préparent. Chypre fait partie des États membres de l’UE<\/strong> qui ont mis en place un régime d’enregistrement préalable<\/strong> avant l’entrée en vigueur de MiCA en 2024.<\/p>

Toutefois, Chypre a dernièrement retiré la licence de la branche européenne de FTX<\/a> après la faillite de l’exchange en novembre<\/strong> et Binance a aussi cherché à retirer son statut dans le pays dans le cadre d’une consolidation réglementaire en prévision de MiCA.<\/p>

La loi MiCA introduira de nouvelles règles pour les entreprises opérant dans le domaine des actifs cryptographiques au sein de l’Union européenne<\/a>. MiCA vise à renforcer la transparence, la sécurité et la conformité dans le domaine des crypto-monnaies<\/strong>, en établissant un cadre réglementaire solide pour les transactions financières liées aux actifs numériques.<\/p>
