Dans une récente interview, la PDG Cathie Wood a maintenu sa thèse selon laquelle Bitcoin atteindrait 500 000 $ d’ici 2030<\/strong>. Wood est la PDG d’Ark Invests et de l’ETF ARKK qui opère dans le domaine de la technologie et est connue pour parier gros sur les biotechnologies. <\/p>

En 2020, elle avait en effet fait la une des journaux avec une prédiction selon laquelle Bitcoin (BTC) atteindrait 500 000 $ d’ici 2030. En novembre 2022, elle avait fait parler d’elle quand son ETF Ark Innovation avait investi 62,7 millions de dollars dans le domaine de la crypto<\/strong>.<\/p>

Ce capital a été utilisé pour acquérir des actions de Coinbase, Silvergate et une partie a été investie dans le Grayscale Bitcoin Trust.<\/strong> Un geste courageux une semaine après l’effondrement du géant FTX.<\/p>

En 2020, l’ETF ARKK avait connu une hausse impressionnante de 150%. <\/strong>Mais la confiance du marché dans l’ETF s’est effritée et on a constaté une chute de 59% en 2022 (pire que le S&P500).<\/p>

Un Bitcoin à 500 000$ en 2030 est une prédiction à minima <\/h2><\/span>

Au lendemain d’une année difficile pour la crypto, Wood a profité de son passage à l’émission sur l’émission Squawk Box de CNBC d’Andrew Sorkin pour défendre sa thèse audacieuse.<\/strong><\/p>

Lorsqu’on lui a demandé si Ark Innovation maintenait sa prédiction de 2020 :<\/p>

\u00ab\u00a0Oui – nous et sommes même un peu plus plus optimistes pour la fourchette basse du prix du Bitcoin en 2030.<\/p>

\u00ab\u00a0Et pour la fourchette haute, notre scénario est encore plus optimiste avec un prix du Bitcoin beaucoup plus haut\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-elle ajouté.<\/strong><\/p>

Une affirmation impressionnante au milieu d’un long hiver crypto qui a vu le prix du BTC<\/strong> chuter jusqu’à 13 350 dollars cette année – après l’effondrement de FTX.<\/p>

S’exprimant sur Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), la PDG a expliqué que la saga FTX avait provoqué un nettoyage dans le monde de la cryptomonnaie<\/strong>.<\/p>

\u00ab\u00a0SBF n’aimait pas du tout le Bitcoin, et il ne l’aimait pas à cause de sa décentralisation et de sa transparence<\/strong>, mais au final quelles entreprises ont fait faillite ?\u00a0\u00bb, a interrogé Wood.<\/p>

\u00ab\u00a0C’étaient des entreprises très centralisées, non transparentes, opaques – je parle de FTX, Celsius, 3 Arrows Capital (3AC),<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>

\u00ab\u00a0Si vous regardez ce qui est arrivé au Bitcoin et à l’Ethereum [les réseaux], ils n’ont pas failli, toutes les transactions ont été effectuées, tous les contrats intelligents ont été ouverts et fermés.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>

Elle a poursuivi en expliquant ce que cela signifiait pour l’industrie. <\/p>

\u00ab\u00a0Après la chute des cryptos cette année, l’effondrement de beaucoup d’entreprises, cette idée de transparence et de décentralisation fait son chemin\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, a-t-elle ajouté.<\/p>

La transparence et la décentralisation semblent être un élément clé de l’ETF d’Ark Innovation.<\/strong> Lorsque le directeur de la recherche d’Ark a réagi à la faillite de FTX en novembre, il avait eu recours au même argument.<\/p>
