Hailed the new and revolutionary breed of apps, dapps (decentralized apps) run on a P2P (peer-to-peer) network of computers rather than a single computer. They are a type of software program designed to exist on the Internet in a way that is not controlled by any single entity. Dapps are a great reimagining of the blockchain technology as a basis for applications other than cryptocurrencies – if nothing else, at least it proves that it is possible to play blockchain-based games.

In this article, we bring you the top 5 dapps built on the Ethereum network, sorted by Daily Active Users (DAU) in the last 24 hours, according to data.
