In einem weiteren großen Verkauf von nicht-fungiblen Token (NFT) versteigert<\/a> das multinationale Unternehmen Sotheby’s <\/strong>mit Sitz in New York 107 Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) und 101 Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC) NFTs, die von Yuga Labs<\/strong> entwickelt wurden. <\/p>

Die Gebote für die BAYC-Token enden am 9. September um 14:01 Uhr UTC, aber der für die Yacht Club-Kollektion gebotene Preis hat die ursprüngliche Schätzung von 12 bis 18 Mio. USD bereits überschritten. Mit Stand vom 6. September, 10:00 Uhr UTC, liegt das aktuelle Gebot bei 19 Mio. USD, wobei bis heute insgesamt 44 Gebote abgegeben wurden.<\/p>

Für die Sammlung Kennel Club, für die Bieter bis zum 9. September, 14:02 Uhr UTC, Gebote abgeben können, wurde die Schätzung von 1,5 bis 2 Mio. USD noch nicht erreicht. Bis zum 6. September, 10:00 Uhr UTC, wurden insgesamt 36 Gebote abgegeben, wobei das höchste Gebot bei 550.000 USD lag.<\/p>

Das Flaggschiff BAYC von Yuga Labs ist eine Kombination aus einer digitalen Kunstsammlung und einer Online-Community, bei der jedes der 10.000 geprägten NFTs „als Mitgliedschaft in einem Sumpfclub für Affen dient“. <\/p>

Die NFTs wurden von ihrem Entwickler im vergangenen April zum Preis von 0,08 ETH pro Stück zum Verkauf angeboten. Seitdem ist der Wert von BAYC jedoch erheblich gestiegen, wie die Gebote in der laufenden Auktion von Sotheby’s zeigen.<\/p>

Ähnlich wie andere NFT-Sammlungen, die sich im Trend befinden, wurde BAYC durch die wegweisende Auktion des britischen Auktionshauses Christie’s<\/strong> im März 2021 gefördert, bei der „EVERYDAYS: THE FIRST 5000 DAYS“ des Digitalkünstlers Beeple für 69,35 Millionen USD verkauft wurde. Die Auktion machte Beeple zu einem der drei wertvollsten lebenden Künstler und sein NFT zum teuersten digitalen Kunstwerk, das je verkauft wurde. <\/p>

Der NFT-Markt hat im vergangenen Jahr eine Achterbahnfahrt erlebt, und einige der großen NFT-Auktionen dieses Sommers haben die Preisobergrenzen der Käufer auf die Probe gestellt. Dabei zeigte <\/a>sich, dass das Kunstwerk eines angehenden Künstlers 2,16 Mio. USD erzielen kann, während der Quellcode eines gefeierten Erfinders 5,4 Mio. USD erreichen kann.<\/p>
