Blockchain hat eine neue Rolle in der Welt des Sports – und insbesondere des Fußballs – gefunden, indem der Russische Fußballverband<\/b> (RFU) die Blockchain-Abstimmung eingeführt hat, die es dem Dachverband erlaubt, auf Papierabstimmungen zu verzichten und virtuelle Gipfeltreffen abzuhalten.<\/p>

Die RFU mit Sitz in Moskau ist der offizielle Dachverband des Fussballs in Russland. Da die Coronavirus-Pandemie immer noch in der Nation wütet, beschloss die RFU, ihre Jahreskonferenz am 2. Oktober online abzuhalten, anstatt ein physisches Treffen zu riskieren.<\/p>

Da eine Reihe dringender Fragen zur Abstimmung stand, beschloss die RFU, einen der führenden Softwareanbieter des Landes, Kaspersky Lab<\/b>, um Hilfe zu bitten. Letzterer stellte seine virtuelle Plattform für virtuelle Treffen mit Polys-Blockchain zur Verfügung, die es den Teilnehmern ermöglicht, ihre Stimmen in einem „manipulationssicheren“ Blockchain-Netzwerk zu registrieren.<\/p>

Die RFU hat rund 160 regionale Delegierte, die in ganz Russland ansässig sind, und heute stand unter anderem die Wahl eines neuen Exekutivkomitees der RFU auf der Tagesordnung.<\/p>

Die Betreiber erkläreten Laut RIA Novosti Sport <\/a>, dass die Plattform es „Delegierten und Mitgliedern der RFU erlauben würde, von jedem beliebigen Gerät aus abzustimmen“: PCs, Laptops, Tablets oder Smartphones“.<\/p>

Kaspersky hat die Popularität seiner Plattform während der Pandemie stark ansteigen sehen. Sie starteten <\/a> die Lösung bereits im Februar dieses Jahres.<\/p>

Seit der Einführung gehören der Russische Oberste Gerichtshof<\/b>, der Russische Richterrat<\/b><\/a> sowie zwei führende Moskauer Universitäten dazu: die Russische Präsidialakademie für Volkswirtschaft und öffentliche Verwaltung<\/b> und die Russische Hochschule für Wirtschaft<\/b>.
