Der Autohersteller Toyota<\/b> scheint bestrebt zu sein, den Umfang seiner Blockchainoperationen zu erweitern – mit einer neuen Personen- und Fahrzeug-ID-Plattform, die jetzt vollständig getestet und möglicherweise für die Einführung bereit ist.<\/p>

Im April letzten Jahres hat die Toyota-Gruppe<\/b>, die auch Finanzdienstleistungen und F&E-Unternehmen umfasst, ein gruppenübergreifendes Toyota Blockchain Lab ins Leben gerufen.<\/p>

In einer Pressemitteilung<\/a> erklärte das in Tokio ansässige Blockchain-Startup BUIDL<\/b>, eine Tochtergesellschaft der amerikanischen Sicherheits-Token-Plattform Securitize<\/b>, dass es die Tests auf der neuen Plattform – in Verbindung mit dem bereits erwähnten Toyota Blockchain Lab – erfolgreich abgeschlossen habe.<\/p>

Das Start-up, das sich im Besitz der Sicherheitstoken-Plattform Securitize befindet, sagte, dass die persönliche ID-Plattform von Unternehmenseinheiten wie der Toyota-Gruppe selbst zur Verwaltung von Punkten und Mitarbeitervergünstigungen sowie zur Ausstellung digitaler Zertifikate genutzt werden könnte.<\/p>

Die Fahrzeug-ID-Plattform könnte unterdessen zur Verwaltung der Fahrzeugregistrierung, der Wartungsunterlagen, der Eigentumsverhältnisse und mehr verwendet werden.<\/p>

Der japanische Finanzgigant SBI Holdings<\/b> – jetzt ein wichtiger Akteur in der Kryptowelt – hat im November letzten Jahres, einen Monat vor der Übernahme von BUIDL durch Securitize<\/a>, eine ungenannte “siebenstellige” Investition getätigt.<\/p>

BUIDL wurde 2018 gegründet und sagt, dass es “mehrere Sicherheits-Token-Projekte in ganz Japan unterstützt, seine Einnahmen seit der Gründung kontinuierlich gesteigert und einen großen Marktanteil erobert hat”, so eine Pressemitteilung, die zuvor mit Cryptonews.com<\/i> geteilt wurde.<\/p>

Toyota hat unterdessen eine erhebliche Bereitschaft gezeigt, blockchainbezogene Geschäftsmodelle zu verfolgen.
