Alle drei großen Mobilfunkbetreiber Südkoreas, KT<\/b>, SK<\/b> und LG U+<\/b>, haben sich mit Samsung<\/b>, den Banken KEB Hana<\/b> und Woori<\/b>, sowie dem Finanzinformationsunternehmen Koscom<\/b> zusammengetan, um an einer blockchainbasierten mobilen Identifikationsplattform zu arbeiten.<\/p>

Das Konsortium sagt, dass seine Plattform, die ab 2020 auf fast allen südkoreanischen Smartphones verfügbar sein soll, die Sicherheitslösung Knox von Samsung nutzen wird. Die Plattform, so die Betreiber, wird es den Nutzern ermöglichen, die Vermittler für die Verwaltung personenbezogener Daten zu beseitigen und den Nutzern auch ermöglichen, ihre Sozialversicherungsnummern und Bankkontoinformationen auf Handys in Sicherheit zu speichern und zu verwenden.<\/p>

Laut<\/a> Boan News wird die Plattform die Technologie der Dezentralen Identifikatoren (DIDs) nutzen, ein Identifikator, der nachprüfbare, selbstbewusste digitale Identitätslösungen bietet. <\/p>

Das Konsortium sagt: „Wir werden eine Strategie planen, die es ihnen ermöglicht, die blockchainbasierte mobile elektronische Zertifizierung in verschiedenen Branchen anzuwenden. Wir sind Marktführer in unseren jeweiligen Branchen.“<\/p>

Mit der neuen Plattform arbeiten die Mobilfunkkonkurrenten SK, KT und LG U+ erstmals an einem Blockchain-Projekt zusammen – und das, obwohl alle drei Unternehmen rasend schnell an ihren eigenen Blockchain-Angeboten gearbeitet haben.<\/p>

LG U+ wurde kürzlich als eines der Mitglieder des Governance Council der ambitionierten neuen Klaytn Blockchain-Plattform von Kakao<\/b> vorgestellt.<\/p>

Unterdessen hat SK kürzlich angekündigt, dass sie eine Investition in einen Blockchain-Fonds unter der Leitung von ConsenSys<\/b> unter der Leitung von Joe Lubin, Mitbegründer von Ethereum<\/a>, tätigen wird.<\/p>

Und laut<\/a> Maeil Kyungjae, enthüllte KT Anfang des Monats, dass es sein lokales Stabel Coin-Projekt auf Ulsan ausdehnen wird – Südkoreas siebtgrößte Stadt, Heimat großer Schiffbauunternehmen und einer der wohlhabendsten Teile des Landes.<\/p>
