Der CEO sagte, dass die Bank an das Potenzial der Tokenisierung glaubt, da dies die Richtung ist, in die die Zahlungen gehen.<\/p>

Er gab keine weiteren Einzelheiten zu ihren Plänen bekannt. Auf die Frage nach der JPM-Coin von JPMorgan<\/a> und der Frage, ob Goldman Sachs eine Rolle bei dieser Disruption spielen könnte, antwortete er jedoch: “Auf jeden Fall! Viele untersuchen das.”<\/p>

Außerdem sagte Solomon, dass er nicht glaubt, dass neue Wettbewerber die Banken verschwinden lassen werden, aber die etablierten Finanzdienstleister müssen innovativ sein, wenn sie im Spiel bleiben wollen. In einem kürzlich mit Yahoo Finance geführten Interview räumte Jamie Dimon, CEO von JPMorgan, ein, dass der Wettbewerb zunimmt.<\/p>

Wie im Mai berichtet, sagte Martin Chavez, Global Co-Leiter der Wertpapierabteilung bei Goldman Sachs, dass Kryptowährungen eine stabile Absicherung benötigen.<\/p>

“Wenn wir in der Gerichtsbarkeit der USA sind und ich dir etwas Geld schulde und ich dir einen dieser [Dollar-]Scheine gebe und du ihn akzeptierst, habe ich die Schuld getilgt und sie wird durch die Kraft des Herrschers gestützt. Das würde ich nicht vergessen, wenn ich anfange, über digitale Währungen nachzudenken und irgendwie souverän umherzugehen”, so Chavez.<\/p>
