Das Unternehmen hat einen Deal mit dem amerikanischen Cloud Service Provider Akamai<\/b> abgeschlossen, der sagt, dass die Netzwerkarchitektur es ihm erlauben wird, \u00fcber eine Million Transaktionen pro Sekunde "mit Latenzen von weniger als zwei Sekunden pro Transaktion" zu verarbeiten, wobei die zugrunde liegende Blockchain-Architektur "voraussichtlich auf 10 Millionen Transaktionen pro Sekunde erweiterbar sein wird".<\/p>

Das MUFG-Akamai-Netzwerk wird "permissioned", d.h. nur autorisierte Benutzer k\u00f6nnen teilnehmen, Bestellungen aufgeben und Zahlungen best\u00e4tigen.<\/p>

Nobuyuki Hirano, der CEO von MUFG, sagte in einer offiziellen Erkl\u00e4rung: "Wir haben hohe Erwartungen an unsere Partnerschaft mit Akamai.
