Der Angriff nutzte eine Schwachstelle, bei der der Oracle-Preis fehlerhaft war und dadurch Liquidationen ausgel\u00f6st wurden, sondern eine strukturelle Schwachstelle im Liquidierungssystem des zugrundeliegenden Protokolls. Genau hier offenbart sich ein bekanntes, aber offenbar ungel\u00f6stes Problem vieler Maker-Stil-Protokolle: fehlerhafte Oracle-Konfigurationen als Einfallstor f\u00fcr Single-Transaction-Exploits.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Oracle-Manipulation als Angriffvektor<\/strong><\/h2><span class=\"replacer\"><\/span><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Blockchain-Sicherheitsfirma <strong>SlowMist<\/strong> beschreibt den Exploit als einen kombinierten Einzeltransaktionsangriff: Ein Angreifer manipulierte den Oracle-Preis von Binance Bitcoin (BTCB)  auf ein \u201eabnormal niedriges&#8220; Niveau. Der Angreifer liquidierte diese Vaults und tauschte die extrahierten Assets anschlie\u00dfend gewinnbringend.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SlowMist verweist darauf, dass das System weder einen Preisschutz noch eine Liquidierungsverz\u00f6gerung implementiert hatte &#8211; zwei Sicherheitsmechanismen, die in ausgereiften Maker-Stil-Systemen (ein Protokolldesign, das auf \u00fcbersicherter Besicherung und automatischen Liquidierungen basiert, vergleichbar mit MakerDAO) standardm\u00e4\u00dfig vorhanden sind. Die Abwesenheit dieser Schutzebenen erm\u00f6glichte den gesamten Angriff in einer einzigen Transaktion.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PeckShield<\/strong>, ebenfalls ein auf Blockchain-Sicherheit spezialisiertes Unternehmen, beziffert den Gesamtschaden auf 915.000 Dollar. Die Verluste treffen demnach <strong>42DAO<\/strong> &#8211; die Governance-Entit\u00e4t des Balance Protocol, die als institutioneller Verlusttr\u00e4ger f\u00fcr Protokollausf\u00e4lle fungiert. Die Kombination aus illiquiderem Kollateral und fehlenden Schutzebenen ist strukturell riskant, wie dieser Fall zeigt.
