Ist der Bitcoin-Übertrag eine Vorbereitung auf mögliche Gläubigerzahlungen?<\/h2><\/span>

Mt. Gox überträgt – laut Informationsplattform Arkham Intelligence – mehr als 75 Millionen US-Dollar in Bitcoin<\/a> an die Kryptowährungsbörse Bitstamp. Damit eröffnet die ehemals größte Handelsplattform für Bitcoin Raum für Spekulationen. Der Markt reagiert. Es wird vermutet, dass der BTC-Transer einen weiteren Teil der Vorbereitungen für bevorstehende Gläubigerauszahlungen darstellt. Im Juli hatten die ersten Mt. Gox Auszahlungen begonnen – nach zehnjähriger Wartezeit.<\/p>

Werfen wir einen Blick zurück in das Jahr 2014: Nach einem Hackerangriff durch Sicherheitslücken, bei dem rund 850.000 Bitcoin verloren gegangen waren, meldet Mt. Gox Insolvenz an. Die Coins hatten damals einen Gesamtwert von 450 Millionen US-Dollar. Die Insolvenzmeldung erschütterte den Kryptomarkt und viele Investoren stark. Zuvor hatte sich Mt. Gox nach seiner Gründung im Jahr 2010 als Handelsplattform etabliert. Mit dem Übertrag der Vermögenswerte gehen Spekulanten nun davon aus, dass ehemalige Gläubiger ausgezahlt werden sollen.<\/p>

Langfristige Auswirkung auf Bitcoin-Kurs ungewiss<\/h2><\/span>

Auch auf den Kryptobörsen<\/a> veränderte sich etwas durch den Übertrag von Mt. Gox an Bitstamp. Während der Bitcoin-Kurs einen Rückgang verzeichnete (so auch Binance und Solana), erlebte Ethereum einen Aufschwung. Insgesamt ließ die gesamte Marktkapitalisierung in der Kryptowelt nach. Manche Händler fürchten einen möglichen Ausverkauf und Preisverfall durch die überraschende Bitcoin-Zunahme. Das lässt sich jedoch weder bestätigen noch abstreiten. Laut CryptoQuant verfolgen die meisten der Gläubiger von Mt. Gox weiterhin eine HODL (= Hold on for dear life) Strategie. Sie wollen ihre Bitcoin nicht verkaufen.<\/p>

Der aktuelle Bitcoin-Kurs liegt bei rund 60.800 US-Dollar (Stand: 23. August). In den letzten 24 Stunden verlor er 0,82 Prozent. Nach dem Crash vom 4. auf den 5. August hat es das Krypto-Urgestein noch nicht wieder auf die vorherige Höhe von rund 68.000 US-Dollar geschafft. Wie und ob sich die Handlungen von Mt.
