Ropsten 公共测试网是以太坊 (ETH) 寿命最长的工作量证明 (PoW) 测试网，它让区块链的开发得以在部署到主网之前来进行测试，而它现在预计将在几个小时内完成与主网的合并。<\/p>

根据专门估计以太坊预定更新进度的 Wen Merge 网站表示，Ropsten 测试网将在本文撰写时间 (世界标准时间六月八日 10 点 20 分) 之后的 6 小时 34 分钟内合并。但是，确切的时间会根据运算的哈希率 (hashrate)，平均区块生产时间 (average block time) 及许多其他变数而产生不断的变化，。<\/p>

开发人员为 Ropsten 测试网的合并选择了 50000000000000000 的终端总难度 (TTD\/ Terminal Total Difficulty)。TTD 是衡量挖矿难度的指标。 当达到选定的 TTD 时，区块链彼此之间将会产生合并。<\/p>
