SEC主席透露以太币ETF今夏上市<\/h2>

\n今年 5 月，SEC 已初步批准了以太币现货 ETF，但 Gensler 表示，最终的注册要求（即所谓的 S-1 注册声明）目前仍处于由“工作人员层级”处理的阶段。<\/p>

在参议院拨款委员会的听证会上Gensler与参议员 Bill Hagerty 的对话中，Gensler 提到：“各个发行人仍在完成注册过程，进展顺利”，并补充说，上市批准可能会在“今年夏季的某个时间点”发生。<\/p>

业界人士先前预测，以太币现货 ETF 可能会在 7 月或 8 月开放交易，最迟不会晚于 11 月。\n<\/p>

CFTC主席承认以太币是商品<\/h2>

<\/span><\/p>

\n当被直接问到“以太币是否为商品”时，Gensler 并没有给出肯定或否定的答复，保持了 SEC 对以太币一贯的不确定立场；而在同一场听证会上，美国商品期货交易委员会（CFTC）主席 Rostin Behnam 则直接回答：“是的。”<\/p>

这一问题在厘清美国监管机构对各种加密货币的管辖权时非常重要。在美国尚未立法监管的情况下，关于加密货币究竟该被归类为“证券”还是“商品”一直是两家监管机构争论不休的议题。假设为一般商品交易，属 CFTC 管辖；如果是证券则由 SEC 管理。<\/p>
