A maioria dos detentores de apecoin (APE) votou a favor de uma proposta de que o token permaneça na blockchain Ethereum (ETH), apesar de suas altas taxas de transação.<\/p>

Os resultados finais, que vêm após um período de votação de seis dias que começou em 3 de junho, revelam que 53,62% dos detentores de tokens ApeCoin apoiam a permanência no Ethereum, superando os contrários (em 46,38%) por uma margem estreita.<\/p>

No total, 7,1 milhões de tokens APE foram lançados durante a votação do fornecimento de 1 bilhão de APE. Desses votos, 3,8 milhões votaram ‘a favor’, enquanto 3,3 milhões votaram ‘contra’.<\/p>

Notavelmente, esse resultado não é absoluto, pois novas propostas podem ser apresentadas contestando o resultado após um período de carência de três meses.<\/p>

Chamada de Proposta de Melhoria ApeCoin (AIP) 41, a proposta foi apresentada pelo membro da ApeCoin DAO ASEC no início de maio e solicitou aos detentores de tokens que permanecessem no Ethereum apesar dos problemas em torno das taxas de gás.<\/p>

A proposta afirmava que “migrar para uma cadeia diferente é um empreendimento caro, arriscado e complexo, com muitas partes móveis que podem, se não forem consideradas cuidadosamente, resultar em perda catastrófica ou, na pior das hipóteses, abandono por [criador do projeto] Yuga Labs e outros entidades que, de outra forma, seriam significativas para a ApeCoin.”<\/p>

O AIP-41 veio em resposta a uma sugestão da Yuga Labs, a entidade por trás da popular coleção de tokens não fungíveis (NFT) Bored Ape Yacht Club, que argumentou que a ApeCoin deveria migrar para sua própria cadeia para fins de dimensionamento depois que a casa da moeda Otherdeed entupiu o Rede principal Ethereum.<\/p>

“Lamentamos por desligar as luzes do Ethereum por um tempo”, disse Yuga Labs na época, acrescentando: “Parece bastante claro que a ApeCoin precisará migrar para sua própria cadeia para dimensionar adequadamente. gostaria de encorajar o DAO a começar a pensar nessa direção.”<\/p>

E um número esmagador de eleitores foi a favor da proposta durante os primeiros dias de votação.<\/p>

No entanto, depois que várias baleias importantes da ApeCoin votaram contra a proposta, a competição aumentou. Por algum tempo, a maioria dos eleitores foi até a favor da migração para outra cadeia.<\/p>

Enquanto isso, às 7:16 UTC da manhã de quinta-feira, o APE está sendo negociado a US$ 5,8, uma queda de 2,4% nas últimas 24 horas. A moeda caiu 5,1% na semana passada e 78,3% em comparação com sua alta histórica de US$ 26,7 registrada no final de abril, de acordo com a CoinGecko.<\/p>
