A Ethereum Foundation <\/strong>(EF), organização responsável pela alocação de suporte financeiro dentro do Ethereum (ETH)<\/a>, tinha US$ 1,3 bilhão investido em criptomoedas no final do último trimestre, com a grande maioria em ETH, de acordo com o relatório da fundação.<\/p>

O ETH detido pela Ethereum Foundation representou 0,297% da oferta total de ETH no final do trimestre, segundo o relatório. Ele acrescentou que, do total de participações em criptomoedas da fundação, 99,1% eram detidos na forma de ETH.<\/p>

A capitalização de mercado total da ETH atualmente é de cerca de US$ 353,4 bilhões, segundo a CoinGecko.<\/p>

Além de cripto, a EF também detinha US$ 300 milhões para investimentos não cripto em seu tesouro, em linha com o que chama de “política conservadora de gestão de tesouraria”. A política visa permitir que a fundação financie seus objetivos principais “mesmo no caso de uma desaceleração do mercado de vários anos”, observou o relatório.<\/p>

“Esta parte do nosso orçamento é imune a mudanças no preço do ETH em um cronograma significativo”, afirmou o relatório trimestral. <\/p>

Liderada por Aya Miyaguchi, ex-diretora-gerente do Japão na Kraken<\/strong>, a Ethereum Foundation disse que aumenta sistematicamente seus investimentos não cripto quando os preços da ETH aumentam, observando que isso oferece uma margem de segurança maior para seu orçamento principal.<\/p>

“A EF acredita no potencial do Ethereum, e nossas participações em ETH representam essa perspectiva de longo prazo”, escreveu a fundação.<\/p>

Às 12:23 UTC, o ETH está sendo negociado a US$ 2.940, queda de 3,7% em um dia e quase 9% em uma semana.<\/p>
