Criptomoedas e blockchain estão se tornando um elemento importante da narrativa política francesa, conforme indicado por declarações recentes do recém-chegado político Éric Zemmour, uma autoridade popular que está concorrendo às eleições presidenciais deste ano.<\/p>

O candidato de extrema direita recentemente twittou suas propostas sobre criptomoedas depois de visitar o escritório do fabricante de carteiras de hardware Ledger<\/strong>. Entre outras, Zemmour propõe:<\/p>

“[Permitir] que os detentores de criptoativos reduzam seus impostos reinvestindo seus ganhos na economia real” e “[terminando] o inferno administrativo para os profissionais da indústria de criptomoedas” causado pela implementação da lei da União Europeia na França.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

Zemmour não parou por aí, sua próxima sugestão abordou tokens não-fungíveis (NFTs<\/a>), afirmando:<\/p>

“Proposta 3: criar um regime fiscal ad hoc para NFTs … excluindo-os do regime de ganhos de capital em ativos digitais”. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

O candidato presidencial apela ainda à promoção do desenvolvimento das stablecoins de euro pelo setor privado europeu sem esperar pelo projeto do euro digital liderado pelo Banco Central Europeu<\/strong> (BCE), “para não deixar o monopólio das stablecoins para entidades não europeias.”<\/p>

Embora as últimas pesquisas indiquem que Zemmour é o quarto candidato mais popular para a próxima votação de abril, com 14% dos eleitores declarando que pretendem apoiar o candidato, muitos esperam que o político se estabeleça como um dos principais nomes do cenário político da França após a eleição, potencialmente criando seu próprio movimento que poderia competir por assentos no parlamento.<\/p>

Além disso, a posição de Zemmour sobre criptomoedas pode levar outros candidatos, incluindo o atual presidente Emmanuel Macron, que lidera as pesquisas, a modificar sua posição política em direção a uma abordagem mais amigável à esse tipo de ativo.<\/p>
