Uma tentativa audaciosa de comprar uma das poucas c\u00f3pias sobreviventes da Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o dos Estados Unidos por uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o aut\u00f4noma descentralizada (DAO) ficou aqu\u00e9m do que teria sido uma vit\u00f3ria dram\u00e1tica para o espa\u00e7o criptogr\u00e1fico – perder em um leil\u00e3o na Sotheby’s<\/strong>.<\/p>

Independentemente disso, houve bastante positividade para o DAO, que ficou conhecido como Constitution DAO, e levantou mais de US$ 47 milh\u00f5es em ethereum (ETH) no espa\u00e7o em cerca de uma semana, por dados do Juicebox. Em um comunicado publicado no Twitter, os mentores do DAO escreveram que \u201cembora este n\u00e3o seja o resultado que esper\u00e1vamos, ainda fizemos hist\u00f3ria esta noite\u201d.<\/p>

Eles escreveram que a tentativa foi “o maior crowdfund para um objeto f\u00edsico que conhecemos” em “criptografia ou decreto”.<\/p>

Al\u00e9m disso, eles apontaram que \u201ca Sotheby’s nunca trabalhou com uma comunidade DAO antes\u201d e alegou que \u201ceducou uma corte inteira de pessoas ao redor do mundo – desde curadores de museus e diretores de arte at\u00e9 nossas av\u00f3s\u201d.<\/p>

Eles alegaram que uma grande variedade de pessoas n\u00e3o participantes do mundo das criptomoedas estava “nos perguntando o que \u00e9 ETH quando liam sobre n\u00f3s nas not\u00edcias”.<\/p>

Os idealizadores acrescentaram que 17.437 doadores contribu\u00edram com fundos, com um \u201ctamanho m\u00e9dio de doa\u00e7\u00e3o de US$ 206,26\u201d. Crucialmente, eles observaram, uma \u201cporcentagem significativa dessas doa\u00e7\u00f5es veio de carteiras que foram inicializadas pela primeira vez\u201d.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

No entanto, a maioria desses portadores de carteira agora voltar\u00e1 para casa de m\u00e3os vazias – embora o DAO tenha prometido devolver aos participantes seu “valor pro rata, efetivamente menos as taxas de g\u00e1s” por meio da plataforma Juicebox, acrescentando que dar\u00e1 “mais detalhes sobre isso”.<\/p>

Os c\u00e9rebros tamb\u00e9m escreveram que haviam \u201cmemorizado\u201d a tentativa \u201cem realidade\u201d e ganhado elogios de grandes jogadores no espa\u00e7o.<\/p>

O artista digital Beeple chamou a tentativa de \u201cesfor\u00e7o valente\u201d e comentou:<\/p>
