A empresa de pesquisa de investimentos e venda a descoberto Hindenburg Research <\/strong>ofereceu uma recompensa de US$ 1 milh\u00e3o por informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre como a Stablecoin Tether (USDT) est\u00e1 realmente atrelada ao d\u00f3lar dos Estados Unidos, e dados sobre como os dep\u00f3sitos de Tether <\/strong>realmente funcionam. Em uma resposta com palavras fortes, Tether chamou a “recompensa” de “c\u00ednica” e chamou o an\u00fancio de Hindenburg de “uma tentativa pat\u00e9tica de chamar a aten\u00e7\u00e3o”.<\/p>

Hindenburg, que anteriormente tinha como alvo empresas como a montadora chinesa Kandi <\/strong>e o provedor de sa\u00fade Clover Health<\/strong>, entre outras grandes empresas, afirma que tinha “d\u00favidas sobre a legitimidade do Tether” – que recentemente foi o assunto do que rotulou de “estranho” relat\u00f3rio da Bloomberg Businessweek.<\/p>

No Twitter, por\u00e9m, Tom Schmidt, um parceiro da Dragonfly<\/strong> Capital<\/strong>, brincou que se algu\u00e9m tivesse \u201cfortes evid\u00eancias de que a Tether n\u00e3o tem backup, h\u00e1 uma recompensa por a\u00ed\u201d que \u00e9 \u201cmuito maior do que US$ 1 milh\u00e3o\u201d.<\/p>

Tether escreveu que \u201ctodos\u201d poderiam sentir o \u201coportunismo de Hindenburg conforme o Bitcoin (BTC) se aproxima de outro recorde\u201d – um feito que o BTC alcan\u00e7ou desde que o operador Stablecoin escreveu sua resposta.<\/p>
