سجل باحثون يابانيون أن الشركات الصينية والمؤسسات الحكومية سجلت طلبات براءات اختراع مذهلة عددها 7,600 طلب براءة اختراع بين عامي 2009 و2018، حيث سجل عملاق التجارة الإلكترونية علي بابا<\/b> وحده 512 براءة اختراع.<\/p>

ذكرت Nikkei أنه وفقًا لشركة الأبحاث اليابانية Astamuse<\/b>، بلغت طلبات براءات الاختراع من الجهات الصينية 60٪ من إجمالي عددها خلال 2009 – 2018.<\/p>

احتلت كوريا الجنوبية المرتبة الثانية في نفس الفترة الزمنية، حيث تم تسجيل حوالي 1,150 براءة اختراع، وقدمت الشركات والوكالات اليابانية أقل من 380 طلبًا.<\/p>
