وأطلقت الشركة، ومقرها في لوس أنجلوس بولاية كاليفورنيا، للتو نسختها اللامركزية من موسوعة ويكيبيديا حيث يكافأ المساهمون بتوكينز تسمى IQ عند كتابة وتحرير المقالات على المنصة.<\/p>

تأمل إيفريبيديا أن تساعد الحوافز (التوكينز) في تطوير المنصة إلى مصدر معلومات أفضل وأكثر موثوقية من ويكيبيديا اليوم. ويعتقد فريق العمل هناك أن الطبيعة اللامركزية للمنصة الجديدة ستجعلها محصنة ضد الرقابة وخالية من “المشرفين البيروقراطيين”.<\/p>

وفقًا لتقرير سابق صادر عن The Atlantic، يوجد “عالم خفي من الأشخاص” مهمته تحرير مقالات ويكيبيديا مقابل المال. يهدف نموذج الحوافز الذي قدمه إيفريبيديا إلى إصلاح هذه المشكلة على الأقل من خلال مكافأة جميع المساهمين على العمل الذي يقومون به.<\/p>

أخبر فريق إيفريبيديا The Next Web أن بناء المنصة الجديدة على بلوك تشين الإيثيريوم تحول إلى أمر “صعب بشكل لا يمكن تحمله”، ويرجع ذلك أساسًا إلى مشكلات توسع هذه السلسلة. ونقلت الصحيفة عن الفريق قوله “لا يعمل كل شيء على منصة إيوس، وليس كل شيء جاهز هناك، ولكن هذا حال الإيثيريوم كذلك”، مضيفين أن المشروع لا يزال قيد العمل.<\/p>

“ما يزال العمل جارٍ على حلول القياس، والتخزين، وذاكرة الوصول العشوائي، وتكلفة عرض النطاق الترددي المتقلبة”. ونقلت الصحيفة عن فريق إيفريبيديا قولهم إنه “من الواضح ان الامور تحتاج الى تحسين”.<\/p>

كما تصدرت إيفريبيديا عناوين الصحف في كانون الأول\/ديسمبر الماضي عندما أعلنت عن توظيف د. لاري سانجر، المؤسس المشارك في ويكيبيديا. وفي تصريح للصحافة في ذلك الوقت، قال سانجر إنه ينظر إلى الشركة الناشئة على أنها “المرحلة القادمة من تطور الموسوعات”، مضيفًا “أن كون المعلومات لا مركزية ويتم تقديمها في بروتوكول مثل البلوك تشين، فإن ذلك يفتح أبوابًا كثيرة جدًا”.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
